Instructor - Eric BellEric began studying Taiji in 1992 with the Taoist Tai Chi Society under its founder, Moy Lin Shin. He was an assistant instructor with that organisation. He began studying Traditional Yang Family Taijquan with Alistair Sutherland and East Winds in 1998. He became an Instructor with East Winds in 2002 and is a Registered Instructor with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain. He continues his studies with Shelagh Grandpierre on Barehand form and Sword form. In September 2003 Eric gained his accreditation to teach Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis programme.

Instructor - Sue HoodSue has been studying taiji with Eastwinds for the past 10 years. During this time she has gained both barehand and weapons knowledge (Yang style sword, Yang style broadsword and Wushu fan form) and has worked extensively with Shelagh Grandpierre.

Instructor - Angie ThomasAngie began studying Traditional Yang Family Taijquan with East Winds in April 2000. She made remarkable progress and was appointed an Assistant Instructor with the school in September 2002. She has studied 24-step Simplified Peking Form, Wushu Fan Form, and continues her studies of Traditional Yang Barehand Form and Sword Form with Shelagh Grandpierre. In spring of 2003, Angie was promoted to instructor with Eastwinds and is now a fully registered instructor member with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain.

 Instructor - Lynda RossmanLynda began studying with the Taoist Taiji Society in 1994 and gained 5 years teaching experience therewith. At the start of 2004 Lynda came to study with East Winds and has trained very intensively, attending Shelagh Grandpierre and Christopher Pei seminars. Lynda also has experience in teaching bellydancing.

Artist & sculptor Laura Antebi began her study of Traditional Yang Family Taijiquan with Alistair back in 2000, a keen student, attending all of Shelagh Grandpierre's Scottish seminars to present, Laura continues to reach new levels of learning & growth. East goes West as latest addition to Eastwinds teaching staff Laura is set to pass on her knowledge & experience to students on the West coast of Scotland. |

Instructor - John ConnollyJohn comes from a strong martial arts background, a long-time student of Shotokan Karate and, more recently, Krav Maga. He has been studying Taiji for over 10 years and is a regular at Shelagh Grandpierre's seminars in the East Neuk training both barehand and sword form. In addition to Traditional Yang Family Style John is qualified to teach Tai Chi For Arthritis & Chinese Medical Qigong & Meditation.

Instructor - Jason DevlinWith a keen interest in South East Asian martial arts, Jason began his study of Traditional Yang Family Style Taijiquan with East Winds in 2003 and has made outstanding progress. He continues his study of barehand & sword form with Shelagh Grandpierre and has attended a number of Christopher Pei's Nottingham seminars. Jason is one of East Winds more colourful characters but don't be fooled by the tattoos, he's really a warm hearted soul who adores his two dogs and runs a reptile rescue charity.
